The magician places a small wooden box on the table. A card is freely chosen and signed by a spectator. The magician then states he will find the selected card in several seconds. Momentarily placing the deck behind his back, he announces that he has already found the card, and it is in the box. There is no way the card could be inside the box because no one has been near it! The magician slowly reaches over with his empty hand, picks up the box and brings it over to the spectator and has him remove the lid. The spectator does so and sees a folded card in the box. The magician turns the box over and dumps out the card, the places the empty box on the table. The spectator unfolds the card. It is his card with his signature. Mystery Box is a real fooler because it stays in full view at all times. It doesn't seem possible the chosen card could ever get inside. The routine is easy to learn with no difficult sleight of hand, and several interesting variations are included. Made from hard wood by a master craftsman . It looks elegant, not like a gimmick or prop. Yet it is cleverly gimmicked. At the conclusion leave the box on the table for any spectator to handle. They won't find anything unusual! Your choice, red or blue.
